Sample Letter #1 Date
Dear Gary and Annette, I hope this letter finds you doing well. I am writing to give you a personal invitation to the Community Bible Class. This class is especially designed for folks who don't attend a "traditional" Sunday school class for one reason or another. It meets in the auditorium of Mariettas First Baptist Church. This class has a relaxed atmosphere and begins at 9:35am. Coffee will be available if you want to drink a cup as I teach the lesson. NO ONE in this class will ever be called upon to read, pray, or to speak in any way. However, you can ask any questions you wish. You can sit where you please, dress as you like and just feel at home. We will study Journey Of A Lifetime one of the most popular Bible studies available. In this study the Bible is taught book by book from Genesis to Revelation in 52 weeks. You can honestly learn more about the Bible in one year than the average Christian will learn in a lifetime. If you attend this study just one time and then decide you do not want to continue no one will ever pester you about coming back. However, it would be better for you to attend three times to see what the course is really like. I believe you will be like the man who recently told me, "I have never attended anything I enjoy as much as I do the Community Bible Class." Each week as you arrive you will receive your free lesson for that week. At the end of the course you will have a 224 page commentary on the entire Bible, yours absolutely free, and we will have covered every page in class. You will also receive a free book entitled The Bible Made Easy. It is an easy-to-understand pocket guide to the Bible and is filled with full colored charts, diagram, and pictures that makes the Bible much easier to understand. There are absolutely no strings attached in this class. You will not be called upon to make any kind of commitment or join any church. You will not be asked to give money or buy anything because all materials and books are free. However, you can learn what you have always wanted to know about the Bible and learn how to understand it. If you have questions or you would like to pre-enroll, please call me at 276-2125 or after five at 276-2311. Looking forward to seeing you October 5th,
Tommy Higle, teacher |
